26-pin 1mm pitch FPC Flex Cable – 20cm long
FPC cables are super thin and flexible. They’re often used in electronics when a round cable would be too bulky, especially if you’re dealing with 26 contacts like this one! This cable has 26 pins, 1mm pitch, and is 20cm long. We use it to connect to laptop floppy drives but you may have other uses for this cable!
Adafruit 1.47″ 320×172 Round Rectangle Color IPS TFT Display – ST7789
Don’t be such a square – throw a curveball into your electronics with a curved-edge miniature display. Here’s a new “round rect” TFT display – it’s 1.47″ diagonal and has high-density 250 ppi, 172×320 full-color pixels with IPS any-angle viewing. We’ve seen displays of this caliber used in smartwatches and small electronic devices, but they’ve always been MIPI interface. Finally, we found one that is SPI and has a friendly display driver, so it works with any and all microcontrollers or microcomputers!
Adafruit VL53L4CD Time of Flight Distance Sensor – ~1 to 1300mm – STEMMA QT / Qwiic
The Adafruit VL53L4CD Time of Flight Sensor is another great Time of Flight distance sensor from ST in the VL5 series of chips, this one is great for shorter distances. The sensor contains a very tiny invisible laser source and a matching sensor. The VL53L4CD can detect the “time of flight”, or how long the light has taken to bounce back to the sensor. Since it uses a very narrow light source, it is good for determining distance of only the surface directly in front of it. Unlike sonars that bounce ultrasonic waves, the ‘cone’ of sensing is very narrow. Unlike IR distance sensors that try to measure the amount of light bounced, the VL53 is much more precise and doesn’t have linearity problems or ‘double imaging’ where you can’t tell if an object is very far or very close.

Adafruit ESP32 Feather V2 – 8MB Flash + 2 MB PSRAM – STEMMA QT
One of our star Feathers is the Adafruit HUZZAH32 ESP32 Feather – with the fabulous ESP32 WROOM module on there, it makes quick work of WiFi and Bluetooth projects that take advantage of Espressifs most popular chipset. Recently we had to redesign this feather to move from the obsolete CP2104 to the CP2012N and one thing led to another and before you know it we made a completely refreshed design: the Adafruit ESP32 Feather V2.
