How to Paint a Glowing Plasma Coil Effect #SciFiSunday

As someone who does a lot of sci-fi modeling, I have the worst time with any sort of lighting effects using paint.

In this Midwinter Minis video, Guy paints an impressive green glow on the Sunfury Plasma Annihilator weapon on his massive Warhammer 40,000 Warlord Titan.

Like a lot of these lighting effects, the process is fussy and requires some real patience, but you can’t argue with the results.
