On this episode of Project Farm, Todd takes a look at 13 different brands of fuel cans: Wavian, Justrite, Surecan, Eagle, Stark, Midwest military style, VP Racing, No Spill, Scepter Military Style, Midwest, Briggs & Stratton, Garage Boss, and Scepter.
The cans were tested for flow rate, leaks & spills during use, spout functionality with various fuel tank styles, tip-over angle, and impact durability. Metal Jerry cans were also tested for corrosion resistance.
In the end, the Justrite (listed here at $104, currently $130 on Amazon) was best overall. Coming in a solid second was the Eagle, at a very affordable $59. The plastic VP Racing can, at $49, was the third best-testing can.
