If I wanted anyone to explain the mind-bending nature of time crystals to me, it would be Dianna Cowern, aka Physics Girl. Dianna has a real talent for breaking down complex physics into digestible concepts that we mere mortals can understand.
In this video, she explains the recently theorized and tested quantum physics concept of the time crystal. As her editor (who she uses as her student guinea pig) says: “This sounds like something from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” He’s right. But time crystals are real and have huge implications for quantum computing.
