One of the reason skirmish miniatures games are so popular is that, instead of having to paint dozens (and dozens) of miniatures for larger miniature games, you only have to field ten or so minis. But, even ten can become too much of a project and never get completed.
In this 52 Miniatures video, Alex addresses this dilemma, which had kept him from finally playing Stargrave. To remedy this, he decides to try a super-fast painting approach which will get him a fieldable warband as quickly as possible.
He manages to come up with a dusty and drab Dune-inspired color scheme and has a lovely-looking set of ten minis in only around 4 hours. Can’t beat that.
