Sam Battle of Look Mum No Computer has been collecting 1970s and 80s DIY electronics magazines and the synthesizer projects (and available kits) that were included in many of them. He’s also tracking down as many of the built kits as he can.
In this video, he looks at the Powertran Transcendent Polysynth, the only DIY polysynth kit available in the early 1980s. He goes over how it works, what he had to do to fix it, and he plays around with it.
