Left & Right Mecanum Wheel Pair – 48mm Diameter – TT Motor or Cross Axle (2-pack)
If you’re unfamiliar with mecanum wheels, this Matching Left & Right pack of 48mm Diameter Mecanum Wheels may resemble everyday chunky wheels Frankenstein’d out of mini hair curler rollers. In reality, they are very cool, omnidirectional wheels with rollers that are supported by ball-bearings, allowing a four-wheeled robot to move in any direction. There are nine rubber beads around the perimeter of each wheel that lets it grip the floor when moving sideways.
Seeeduino XIAO Expansion Board – Works With Adafruit QT Py
The Seeeduino XIAO Expansion Board is a great add-on board with a little-bit-of-everything. It works wonderfully with our QT Py boards so we’re stocking it for folks to plug in their SAMD21 QT Py or RP2040 QT Py. It enables prototyping in an easy and quick way and with so many hardware add-ons, you can quickly explore near-infinite possibilities of Arduino and CircuitPython with your QT Py friends.
Please note that since QT Py’s have built in reset-buttons, the onboard reset button doesn’t do anything. Just use the button on the top of our boards instead! Ditto for the SWD/SWC pins – those are connected to pogo pins but QT Py has em in a different spot. Those are the only two things that don’t work.
Etched Glow-Through Keycap – Zener ESP Waves Design – MX Compatible Switches
When we saw the classic “Zener ESP Card” designed keyboard in the awesome CHVRCHES video for the song “How Not To Drown” (ft Robert Smith!) we were smitten. So goth! So esoteric! So we got a small number of these etched-through keycaps with the 5 designs: circle, cross, waves, square and star. You don’t have to wear excessive eyeliner to snap these into your mechanical keyboard… but, hey, we’ll use any excuse.
This Glow-Through Zener Waves Etched Keycap is made with a translucent/opaque plastic that is etched to create an elegant glow-through effect. Perfect to show your emo-goth-techno-psychic cred on your next mechanical keyboard project.
Learn more! Also available in a square, star, plus sign and circle design!
Adafruit MacroPad RP2040 Enclosure + Hardware Add-on Pack
Dress up your Adafruit Macropad with PaintYourDragon’s fabulous decorative silkscreen enclosure and hardware kit. You get the two custom PCBs that are cut to act as a protective bottom plate and and a mechanically-stabilizing keyboard plate.
Use the included M3 screws to attach the bottom plate – it’s symmetric so you can decide which side you’d like to have visible. Stick the rubber feet on the bottom to protect your desk from scratches. Fit the 12 keys you’d like to install into the keyplate, they’ll snap in solidly and let you plug in all the keys at once. Finally, fit the D-shaft knob onto the encoder.
Lookin’ good and ready to keeb!
Adafruit MCP9601 (MCP96L01) I2C Thermocouple Amplifier – STEMMA QT / Qwiic
Thermocouples are very sensitive, requiring a good amplifier with a cold-compensation reference. The Adafruit MCP9601 I2C Thermocouple Breakout (a.k.a MCP96L01) does all that for you and can be easily interfaced with any microcontroller or single-board computer with I2C. Inside, the chip handles all the analog stuff for you, and can interface with just about any thermocouple type: K, J, T, N, S, E, B, and R types are all supported! You can also set various alerts for over/under temperature, and read the thermocouple (hot) temperature and the chip (cold) temperature. All this over common I2C.
This breakout board has the chip itself, a 3.3V regulator and level shifting circuitry, all assembled and tested. Works great with 3.3V or 5V logic. Comes with a 2-pin terminal block (for connecting to the thermocouple) and pin header (to plug into any breadboard or perfboard). Match it up with our 1m K-type thermocouple.
