Honey bees are industrious engineers and Full Stack Woodworking is a fan. The YouTube Chanel custom built this honeycomb led desk. There are over 1,000 addressable LEDs painstakingly installed in a honeycomb pattern. Each LED simulates the activity of a bee including Queen, Forager, etc. The desk becomes a living system at your fingertips. It uses an Ikea desk for the base an runs off a Raspberry Pi 5.

Building a desk which has a built in Honey Bee simulator, using 74 hexagonal laser cut frames, custom pcbs and a lot of woodworking to fit it all together.
