Jordanian Parliament Repeals 'Marry the Rapist' Clause

Amman, Jordan (AP) -- The lower house of Jordan's parliament on Tuesday scrapped a provision in the kingdom's penal code that allowed a rapist to escape punishment if he married his victim.
