Reviving a Strange TRS-80 Model 3/4/CoCo “Repack”

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Adrian from Adrian’s Digital Basement exploration of a bizarre TRS-80 “repack” he was given by a friend.

Inside what appeared to be a TRS-80 Model 4, Adrian found Model 3 parts and a cheap TV set! He was also given a CoCo motherboard that the owner thought might have originally been inside. Adrian was able to determine that the motherboard had indeed been inside this Frankenstein repack.

Adrian’s been in the process of repairing the damaged motherboard and putting the repack back together into it’s original TRS-80 Model 3/4/CoCo mash-up form.
