HackSpace magazine issue 48 – in the Only the Best section – discusses the Feather board form factor ecosystem pioneered by Adafruit.
HackSpace magazine is celebrating its fourth year in print, and I’m happy to have been a little part of that history, having written over 40 Best of Breed roundups, and even a build here and there. I decided to look back at some of my early reviews, and I thought it was about time I revisited my favourite microcontroller ecosystem, the Adafruit Feather.
It’s been years since we last did a dedicated roundup, and there have been so many new products launched that it warrants a second look. In fact, I could do several Best of Breed articles and I’d still only cover a small percentage of the new products!

Limor sent me some interesting links, and in true inclusive Adafruit fashion, it included a variety of Feather boards from a wide range of companies – indie makers, startups, and larger established brands.
Limor continues to be the catalyst for growing and celebrating the community. It’s just another reason why so many people love Adafruit’s products, myself included!
