Republican states are clamping down on your right to protest

Florida Governor Ron Desantis this week signed into law the nation’s strictest anti-protest laws. They make it harder to protest and easier for people to strike protesters with their cars and get away with it. Former Congresswoman, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell joined American Voices with Alicia Menendez to discuss how she feels about the new laws being enacted in her home state.
