The “Supporting American Printed Circuit Boards Act,” offered by Reps. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and Blake Moore (R-UT), would incentivize purchases of domestically produced printed circuit boards (PCBs) as well as industry investments in factories, equipment, workforce training, and research and development (R&D).

H.R. 7677, the Supporting American Printed Circuit Boards Act, was recently introduced in the House of Representatives by Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and Congressman Blake Moore (R-UT). IPC supports this bill that would spur the domestic manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) by incentivizing purchases of domestically produced PCBs as well as industry investments in factories, equipment, workforce training, and research and development (R&D). Specifically, the bill would authorize $3 billion to invest in domestic PCB manufacturing and R&D facilities through a financial assistance program, and provide a 25 percent tax credit for the purchase or acquisition of American-made PCBs.

IPC has ramped-up its advocacy in Washington, DC and through grassroots campaigns in support of this bill, and we are asking you to help gain congressional support for it. There are two things that you can do that will have a real impact.

IPC is organizing a multi-company executive leadership support letter for this bill that will be sent to all Members in the House of Representatives. We ask you or another senior executive within your company to sign this letter by 11:59 pm (EDT) Monday, July 11. Only one executive per company will be listed on the letter.
