Any maker of anything can get stuck in a rut, or become too habituated in the types of projects we do or even in the way we go about doing them. Sometimes, it can be very liberating and inspiring to set aside your regular routine and mindset and try something you’d never try otherwise.
Such is the case with Jeremy Pillipow of Black Magic Craft. For this project of making terrain for an upcoming game he is going to Kickstart, he decided to play, improvise, work in ways he normally doesn’t, and to make a piece of terrain he likely never would’ve working within his usual mindset.
The project results and the excitement in his voice and face when he’s done speak for themselves.
