NASA Earth Observatory published Chris Ruf and Madeline Evasn’ microplastics map. Very curious (and scared) to see a 2020-2021 animation.
Combining those observations with previous modeling of ocean plastic, Ruf and Evans mapped concentrations of microplastics across the ocean for more than a year.
