Black Metallic-Look Plastic GH60 / 60% Keyboard Shell
Back in my day, if you wanted a mechanical keyboard, you had to purchase a massive IBM Model M Keyboard but now you can DIY your very own compact keyboards with your very favorite layouts to make the keeb of your dreams.
For all the DIY keebfans in the house here is a Black Metallic-Look Plastic GH60 Keyboard Shell. It’s made of injection-molded plastic but it has a cyberiffic metallic-glitter look, and we dig the styled grooves as well
It’s the perfect base to begin your custom keyboard project. It’s also a lot less expensive than a milled & anodized aluminum shell. However, it won’t be as heavy, durable, or flat. That said, it’s a great starter shell, and nicer than the plain plastic ones we stock. You provide the PCB to match and bolt it into this base. It’s also designed with a slot for a USB C power supply.
Cool White LED Ring Light with USB Cable and On/Off Switch – 70mm Diameter 5V
Here’s the easiest way to add a cool white LED element for costuming or lighting effects or… something else? Of course, you could also just use this Cool White LED Ring Light + USB Cable with On/Off Switch as a lighting addition to your photo and video projects. No soldering or wiring required as this version is ready to go!
Deceptively small and slim, this LED ring is very bright and could not be easier to use. Hook it up with 5V power and 500mA current capability, and with a flick of the on/off switch, you’ve got the quickest way to make all your projects light up.
Note: these are not ‘NeoPixel’ LEDs, you can turn the entire thing on/off or dim it with a PWM power signal, but you cannot turn on individual LEDs.

Adafruit LED Glasses Driver – nRF52840 Sensor Board
This board is designed to be a thin, bluetooth-enabled driver board for our Adafruit LED Glasses RGB LED matrix. That said, it’s a perfectly good stand-alone development board for the Nordic nRF52840 chipset, with a very slim design, optional LiPo battery support, a few sensors, and a Stemma QT port for adding other devices or sensors with I2C plug-and-play.
The driver looks a little like a Feather but it does not have any breakout pins to keep it very compact. If you need access to GPIO pins, we recommend an nRF52840 ItsyBitsy, nRF52840 Feather or Feather Sense.
In exchange for GPIO outputs, we added some sensors on instead: each board comes with a LIS3DH triple-axis accelerometer that can be used for motion and orientation sensing, and a PDM digital microphone for audio sensing. To add more sensors or connect to the LED Glasses front panel, there’s a STEMMA QT connector for plug-and-play I2C support.
