Adafruit 2.13″ Monochrome eInk / ePaper Display FeatherWing – 250×122 Monochrome with SSD1680: The FeatherWing sports a 2.13″ monochrome (black and white) display with 250×122 black pixels on a white-ish background. The monochrome displays take a lot less time to update thank our tri-color e-Ink displays, only a couple seconds instead of 15 seconds!

Using our CircuitPython or Arduino libraries, you can create a ‘frame buffer’ with what pixels you want to have activated and then write that out to the display. Most simple breakouts leave it at that. But if you do the math, 250 x 122 pixels x 2 colors = 7.6 KBytes. Which won’t fit into many microcontroller memories. Heck, even if you do have 32KB of RAM, why waste 8KB?

1.25mm Pitch 2-pin Cable 20cm long 1:1 Cable – Molex PicoBlade Compatible: When 0.1″ is too big, and JST PH’s too chunky, this ultra-slim 1.25mm connector cable is a reliable alternative. These are 1.25mm pitch but have a nice clicky connection.

This cable is handy and not too long, 20cm in fact. The friction lock makes easy-breezy connections whenever you need light and small connectivity.

Note that this cable is 1:1 ‘symmetric’ type wiring, which means that on a 4-pin cable, for example, the first pin on one connector will go to pin 1 on the other side, pin 2 to pin 2, etc till the last two pins.

Adafruit MCP9808 High Accuracy I2C Temperature Sensor Breakout – STEMMA QT / Qwiic: The MCP9808 digital temperature sensor is one of the more accurate/precise we’ve ever seen, with a typical accuracy of ±0.25°C over the sensor’s -40°C to +125°C range and precision of +0.0625°C. They work great with any microcontroller using standard I2C. With three address jumpers on the back, you can connect up to 8 to a single I2C bus without address collisions. Best of all, a wide voltage range makes it usable with 2.7V to 5.5V logic!

Adafruit HTU31 Temperature & Humidity Sensor Breakout Board – STEMMA QT / Qwiic: The HTU31-D is the third generation of temperature-humidity sensors from TE – and a great follow-up to the popular HTU21-D sensor. Like the HTU21, the ’31 is great for sensing temperature and humidity, with excellent specifications.

This I2C digital humidity sensor is an accurate and intelligent alternative to the common DHT-series sensors, at about the same price! It has a typical accuracy of ±2% at 20% to 100% relative humidity, at a temperature range of 0 to 70°C. Operation outside this range is still possible – just the accuracy might drop a bit. The temperature output has an accuracy of ±0.2°C from -0~100°C, on par with the better quality on-chip sensors we’ve stocked.
