Making Simple, Effective Game Terrain Without Painting

In this episode of The Tabletop Engineer, Jim shows how he made some really cool-looking sci-fi terrain pieces for the upcoming Stargrave (the sci-fi sibling of the amazing Frostgrave) tabletop miniatures game.

He used electrical outlet boxes for the buildings and vinyl stickers designed in Inkscape to decorate the structures with solar panels, doors, windows, etc.

The buildings only ended up costing a couples of bucks each including getting vinyl stickers printed. This is a great way to create effective and cool-looking sci-fi buildings when you can’t or don’t want to paint terrain.
