Maybe it’s because I grew up in the early 90s, in a time right before cell phones and eventually smart phones became ubiquitous overnight, but there’s something so nostalgic and awesome about a walkie-talkie. The mere thought of it makes me want to play an OTT game of capture the flag. Very cool project from Chris Greening up on Hackster.io.
It’s a Walkie-Talkie based around the ESP32. It transmits audio using either UDP Broadcast or ESP-NOW.
