Besides staring in Pose and American Horror Story, Angelica Ross is a self-taught coder and CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises.

From the board room, to film sets, to the White House, Angelica Ross is a leading figure of success and strength in the movement for trans and racial equality. Named, “1st Foot Soldier of the Year” in 2015 by Melissa Harris Perry, Angelica Is the founder of TransTech Social Enterprises, a company that empowers trans and gender nonconforming people through on-the-job training in leadership and workplace skills. Angelica has toured nationally, speaking her powerful mission into action with business leaders, educators, and the President of the United States.

Since studying theater at Florida Atlantic University, Angelica has been featured in film, television, and live theatre. Miss Ross is the breakout star of the upcoming series Her Story, which explores the deeply moving lives and loves of two trans women in LA. For over ten years, Angelica has directly engaged her communities in order to create opportunities for independence, freedom, and success through social work, entrepreneur and leadership development, business building, and education.

As CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises, Miss Ross has focused on empowerment and education for trans people. Trans and gender non-conforming people are more likely to face barriers and discrimination in the workplace.

In 2014, CEO Angelica Ross founded TransTech Social Enterprises to follow a vision: A social enterprise that provides education, support, and jobs for trans people facing high levels of discrimination

In her own words, “At TransTech, we’ve created a space for trans people to come together, work together, laugh together, go to lunch together. There’s strength in numbers. They’re building networks, and down the line they’ll think of each other when it comes to jobs.”
