Making a Cyberpunk Thermal Katana from Simple Tools #cyberpunk

It’s cyberpunk weaponry ASMR! In this very impressively done and charming video, maker Xiao Qianfeng builds a very cool-looking “thermal katana,” seen in Cyberpunk 2077, using simple hand- and (a few) power tools.

The video shows her fashioning the main wooden structure out of black walnut, installing LED strip lighting, and molding and casting the resin “thermal” blade. There are some impressive tips in here, like how to create an analog vacuum pump out of a jar and a plastic syringe. Impressive stuff.
