ASU Students Learn Computational Thinking with #CircuitPlaygroundExpress

Huge thanks to Seth for sending in this tip! Seth writes:

Students in Seth Thorn’s “AME 112: Computational Thinking for Digital Culture Majors” course at Arizona State University use Adafruit’s Circuit Playground Express development board in tandem with Max MSP to learn algorithmic thinking, recursion, conditions, procedural logic, modularity, and other computing principles. Students with little or no programming background are able to rapidly prototype and design smart home devices, wearables, and games in the first 8 weeks of the course, which emphasizes process-oriented learning and playful experimentation for development of rich, generative design media.
