Problematic Women: Christine Blasey Ford, Chick-Fil-A, and Impeachment

On this week’s episode of “Problematic Women,” we tackle the news you need to know in a rapid-fire format:

  • Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., is called “trash” by feminists who oppose her role in House Democrats’ impeachment hearings.
  • Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, wins an award for courage from the ACLU.
  • The “Charlie’s Angels” movie reboot flops at the box office, and writer-director-star Elizabeth Banks blames it on sexism.
  • Due to another LGBTQ controversy, singer Ellie Goulding almost backs out of the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show kicking off the Salvation Army’s “red kettle” campaign.
  • Chick-fil-A drops its donations to Christian organizations after increased pressure from LGBTQ groups.

Get to know the hosts of “Problematic Women,” Lauren Evans and Virginia Allen, in a personal, unscripted interview. Their Heritage Foundation interns ask questions about their career paths, faith, what it’s like to be a conservative in Washington– and dating.

And we crown two Problematic Women this week–interns Kara Brown and Kianna Steadman. They share their advice to other young problematic women and what they’ve learned from working in Heritage’s Communications Department.
